Everest NL: where partnerships meet future ready mobility and safety

Defenture and L3Harris have joined forces at Everest NL, an event organised by L3Harris at Experience Island in the Netherlands. This collaborative event showcased all elements required for European modernisation of the armed forces, to ensure readiness today and in the future, and to guarantee mission success. The partnership between Defenture and L3Harris was highlighted and underlined the importance of seamless system integration.

The importance of industry collaboration in a changing world
In today’s rapidly evolving societal and technological landscape, the need for reliable, integrated military mobility and safety solutions is greater than ever. As political tensions rise and defence organizations demand more agile and advanced capabilities, industry leaders must work together to deliver innovative, mission ready and future-ready solutions.

Collaboration within the defence sector fosters innovation, efficiency, and interoperability. Defenture, a specialist in high-performance light tactical mobility solutions, and L3Harris, a leader in defence communications and security technologies, recognize the vital importance of a partnership. By working together, they ensure that military and security forces are equipped with state-of-the-art systems that enhance operational effectiveness and safety. This was showcased at the Everest NL event.

Everest NL: where integrated systems meet operational reality
Everest NL was designed to replicate a modern tactical communications network and showcase the latest communication technologies tailored for a future NATO maneuver force. This live, interactive C5ISR experiment provided attendees with hands-on experience with integrated battlefield systems on vehicles.

International participants at Everest NL attended a range of live system representations, focusing on tactical communications, battle management systems, network management, and operational infrastructure. This includes tactical operation centres, vehicles, and soldier systems linked to real-world use cases. The event offered valuable insights into dynamic battlefield command and control, mission management, tactical awareness at the soldier’s edge, ISR asset integration, satellite communications, and more.

Defenture contributed to this demonstration by showcasing its Mammoth and GRF platforms  In addition to producing, delivering, and maintaining mobility platforms worldwide, Defenture is also partner in system integration. During Everest NL, Defenture’s GRF and Mammoth platform were therefore deployed, each equipped with integrated communication systems from L3Harris. These integrations highlight prove the seamless collaboration between Defenture, L3Harris, and other industry partners, reinforcing the importance of interoperability in modern defence operations.

Defenture excels in system integration through its deep understanding of operational requirements, modular vehicle platforms and close collaboration with end-users. With an open architecture and flexible development approach, different technologies and subsystems – from communication systems to weapon systems – can be seamlessly integrated. As a result, Defenture delivers not just vehicles, but complete mobility solutions that are mission-ready and future-proof.

Shaping the future of mobility and security
The combination of mobility and system integration is an important cornerstone of mission readiness for armed forces. By combining advanced and innovative mobility platforms with leading communication and security technologies, Defenture and L3Harris are paving the way for the future of military mobility and safety.

Everest NL serves as a testament to the power of collaboration, demonstrating how industry partnerships drive progress and ensure that European defence forces remain ready for the missions of today and the challenges of tomorrow.
